Nathan Henshaw, Attorney
Nathan Henshaw is licensed to practice law in Alaska and Utah and is the founder of Henshaw Law. He actively litigates throughout the State of Alaska, and his practice areas include: Business Law, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Appeals, and other transactional and litigation matters. He graduated from the University of Utah Law School in 2019.
During Law School, Nathan was a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, receiving the best brief award in the intermountain Region. He also completed a fellowship at the University of Oxford in 2018 (Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict). Nathan received a scholarship to intern for the Jordanian Government (Ministry of Social Development) in Amman, Jordan in 2017 where he also studied Arabic.
Brianna Arriaga, Associate Attorney
Brianna Arriaga-Lanier is licensed to practice law in Alaska and her home state of Alabama. After graduating from Liberty University's School of Law in Virginia, Brianna’s journey then led her to pursue a legal career here in the beautiful state of Alaska where she is a proud new resident of Eagle River, Alaska and a devoted military spouse. Whie in law school, Brianna competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution team at a number of competitions—to include an NBA Contract Competition where her team tied Harvard Law. Brianna is a dedicated business and estate planning attorney here at Henshaw Law with over two years of drafting experience in complex Estate Planning. As a seasoned professional, Brianna brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm, ensuring top notch service for our clients. Outside of work, Brianna enjoys listening to music, going to festivities, and cherishing time with her loving husband and her trio of adorable dogs: Milky Way, Mars, and Astro.
Addie Lancaster, Associate Attorney
Addie Lancaster is licensed to practice law in Alaska, and she has been actively litigating Family Law cases since March 2022. Prior to being licensed, Addie worked as a paralegal in a Family Law firm while awaiting admission to the Alaska Bar. Addie graduated from Albany Law School in May 2021. While in law school, Addie participated in the Albany Law School Justice Center's Family Violence Litigation Clinic for two semesters, where she represented victims of domestic violence in New York Family Court. Addie competed in various moot court competitions, including client counseling, negotiations, and appellate advocacy. Not only is Addie a spirited competitor, but she is also an accomplished writer, with multiple works that she authored being published by the Center for Judicial Process. Upon graduation from law school, Addie received the MatLaw Prize, for having the highest academic standing in the areas of family & matrimonial law in her graduating class. Addie also received the Justice Center Prize for her interest and significant contributions to the individuals represented by the Albany Law School Justice Center. In her personal time, Addie enjoys the outdoors, houseplants, and spending time with her pets.
Jessica Burton, Associate Attorney
Jess Burton's formative years spent between the San Juan Islands of Washington State and China exposed her to diverse cultures and instilled a strong sense of global community and service. Her deep commitment to helping others was recognized early when she received the 2012 China Red Cross Award for her significant volunteer efforts in rural China. Jess furthered her education at Emory University, earning degrees in Chinese and Psychology, which equipped her with the skills necessary for her subsequent roles in the legal field.
Jess's professional experience includes impactful work at Dentons Law's China headquarters and within the in-house team at Virgin Money in the UK, where she honed her expertise in international and business law. After returning to the United States, she pursued a Juris Doctor at the University of Washington School of Law, excelling as a Research Fellow and reaching the quarterfinals in the 2020 UW Law Contracts Negotiation Competition. Her commitment to service led her to volunteer in the Rural Alaska Tax Assistance Program, profoundly connecting her with the community and inspiring her relocation to Alaska. Now based in Anchorage, Jess specializes in business law, estate planning, contract disputes, etc., bringing a well-rounded international perspective and dedicated advocacy to her clients.
